Hello there, I’m Matt Karr! I live in Charlotte, NC with my Husband Tommy and our rascals, Pinter, Trixie, and Zoey. As newbies to Charlotte, we have been exploring what the Queen City has to to offer be it restaurants, theatre, movies and special events, and I’m excited to share those opportunities through Matt About It.

But it ain’t gonna be all about Charlotte! I’ll talk, discuss, think, and experiment with different topics ranging from Food (we all gotta eat) to books to fashion to construction. Really, anything could come up just depending on what my interests at that moment are! If you know me IRL (see I’m hip like the kids) or just through the online community, I hope that you will feel engaged by the topics on here and reach out with your own thoughts and ideas.

I am fascinated by the stories that people have to tell. I certainly have a few up my sleeve that I’ve gathered over the last 30 years!

My life slogan is “Live for Fun, Spread Joy” and that’s how I’ll end all of my entries, because, we should be spreading joy wherever we are, and if we’re not living for fun, I think we are missing out on a great peace of what life is all about.
